OUR AGENTS

Mark Havlic

Mark Havlic has been a local award-winning agent for over 20 years. Having built a reputation for honesty, personal service and commitment to his clients, Mark is always available and able to meet the needs of our clients. Mark holds licenses for property and casualty in the states of Illinois and Wisconsin, and also holds a LUTCF for life underwriting. These licenses enable Mark to provide total care to his clients in all their insurance and financial needs. Mark is a graduate of Iowa State University with a BA in Speech Communications.

Mark has been married to Kim Havlic since 1987. They have two daughters-one a senior and one a freshman in high school. Mark is an IHSA basketball official, and volunteers in the spring for the state Special Olympics tournament. An avid Cubs fan, Mark enjoys riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle in the summertime, and is active in many local community events.

Bryan Dinklenburg

As office manager, Bryan is directly responsible for day to day operations within the agency. His primary focus is on our client's claim experience. Bryan works dilligently with adjusters, processors and vendors to make sure our clients experience complete satisfaction with their loss experience. He knows that claim experiences are often stressful times, and works extremely hard to make sure things run as smoothly as possible.

Bryan spends his free time gardening and watching soccer with his three year old daughter Ryan.

Maribel Ortega

As our sales team leader, Maribel strives to ensure her clients feel like they are top priority at all times. She consistently goes above and beyond the call to deliver excellent customer service. Maribel's integrity, honesty and commitment to excellence make her one of our agency's best. As one of our bilingual associates, Maribel is able to assist our Spanish-speaking clients with all of their insurance needs.

Maribel enjoys spending time with her children, and enjoys dancing, gardening and rollerblading in her free time.

Liz Rutkowski

Photobucket Having been an agent here at Havlic Insurance for over a year, Liz brings a positive attitude and a fresh approach to insurance conversations. Her ability to speak multiple languages makes her a very valued asset to both current clients and prospective new clients to the Havlic Insurance family!

A 2008 Graduate of Augustana College in Rock Island, Liz holds a B.A. in History, Political Science and Spanish with a minor in Latin American Studies. Liz speaks Spanish and Polish, and enjoys spending her free time reading and playing tennis.

Lauren Moller

Lauren Moller is one of our newest associates. She brings an enthusiasm and energy to our agency that is second to none. Her ability to relate to our clients and put them at ease makes her a fantastic addition to our team.

An alumni of Lake Forest Academy, she enjoys reading, walking and spending time with friends and family.

Kim Havlic

Kim Havlic has been working in the insurance field since 1990. She brings her organization and management skills to our team, primarily focusing on developing our staff in the areas of customer service and retention. Kim focuses on building relationships with our clients, and ensures that our staff is 100% dedicated to our clients and their insurance needs.

Kim has been married to Mark Havlic since 1987. She is very active in her daughters’ extracurricular activities, and spends her free time helping out with Stevenson High School’s Poms team.

Glenn Tarter

Glenn has worked with Mark Havlic, Havlic & Associates, for more than a year and has over 27 years experience in the financial services business. Glenn brings his experience, patience, and high ethical standards to partner with Havlic & Associates in order to complete the entire team approach to your insurance needs.

Glenn earned his undergraduate degree for University of Illinois and also has professional designations of CLU and the ChFc degree from the American College. Glenn also maintains all the required licenses' to sell insurance products in many states.

As the father of three boys, Glenn has been a large presence in community sports in the Algonquin area. He is the past president of the Palatine Lions Club, and has served on the board of the Chicago Life Underwriters, St. Margaret Mary School Advisory and Finance Council, as well as the, Algonquin Lake in the Hills Soccer Association.

Silvia Romani

Silvia is one of the agency's top sales producers. She combines an ability to quickly identify a client's needs with a sensitivity towards making sure our clients are at all times informed and comfortable with their level of coverage.

As one of our bilingual associates, Silvia is adept at assisting our Spanish-language clients with all aspects of their insurance needs.

Silvia is completing her marketing degree from the University of Illinois-Chicago, and enjoys spending time with her daughter.

Kathy LaJoie

Kathy is a key to Havlic & Associates. Our resident flood insurance policies expert Kathy has over 19 years experience working in insurance offices. First working in South Florida, then moving to Illinois in 1999 with her new husband Ron. Kathy’s expertise allows her to customize our customer’s insurance coverage’s and handles the higher valued homeowners insurance policies, flood insurance policies, and the intricate requirements of the Illinois fair plan policies .

Kathy has been with Mark and Kim since moving to Illinois and truly is part of the Havlic family. When not playing with her son, Kathy enjoys tumbling and teaches several classes at Libertyville Gymnastics Academy, as well as, Trilogy Dance in Lake Zurich. She has everyone flipping for her at our office and during her classes!

Anton Shusterman

Anton Shusterman is a new associate here in our agency. He always strives to give the customers what they need and goes above and beyond to make sure they understand all of their options. He is fluent in Russian and he is adept at assisting Russian-speaking clients with all aspects of their insurance needs.

Anton spends his free time playing with his newborn son, watching his Chicago Sports teams, walking with his wife, and working out at the local YMCA in Vernon Hills.

Deborah Walat

Deborah is our most experienced insurance professional. She brings with her over a decade of insurance sales experience. Her committment to finding the very best solutions to customers needs is second to none.
